Video Remote

Our core product: connect screens, keyboard, mouse and USB devices to the computer over a single optical fibre.

Technology

The Video Remote systems developed and manufactured by Wey Design AG are opto-electronic transmission links using optical fibres. We support HDMI, DVI and DisplayPort as well as analogue (legacy) video.

Several interfaces and peripherals – screens, keyboards, USB devices, webcam, mouse etc. – are combined over a single optical fibre and connected to PCs or hosts over distances of up to 40 km. Operation, control and communication take place in real time, without delay.

Application

Video Remote systems by Wey Design AG have been in successful and effective use with several major customers for more than 10 years.

Main benefit

Video Remote systems open up new ways of IT configuration. They can be matched exactly to operational needs and applications and reduce investment, infrastructure and maintenance costs.
